HISTORY

Lázně Bohdaneč OPEN is a traditional tournament organized since 2012 by golf professional Robert Schovánek. For the first few years the tournament was held in October at the end of the golf season. The tournament has become a popular event for both professionals and enthusiastic amateur golfers in following years. Especially thanks to the interesting format, on the first day, professionals and amateurs compete together in different categories, and on the second day, a Texas Scramble of four is played, with flights of 1 professional and 3 amateurs.

 

Over the years, the tournament changed its name thanks to the main partner who supported the event for several seasons. We are now continuing with the tradition under the original name Lázně Bohdaneč OPEN and we are looking forward to this year's edition, which will once again bring interesting names from the professional world of Czech golf and an unforgettable experience for all participants. It is also a novelty that this tournament was included among the six main tournaments of the Czech PGA (Professional Golfers Association).
